COUNTY STRUCTURE PLANS AND LOCAL PLANS

Updated 19 October 2001

With the honourable exception of Bedfordshire, very little is available on the worldwide web about current or future County Structure Plans in our area.

The Bedfordshire CC web site contains a Structure Plan page linking to a summary and what appears to be much of the full text of the County Structure Plan to 2011, although not all the diagrams and maps are included.

The Bucks County Council web site contains one slim page referring to the County Structure Plan to 2011. There is however a County Structure Plan Review Joint Panel, comprising members of BCC and the District Councils. Recent work by this Panel has been to comment on the regional housing distribution in the new RPG and to consider the arrangements for a new Urban Capacity Study as required by the new PPG3 (Housing).

The Herts County Council web site also contains one slim page, describing how to obtain the current County Structure Plan (£20) and the work underway on the next plan.

We are not aware of any Local Plans for Districts within the ANTAS area available on line.
